  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) are used by employers to automatically scan and filter resumes based on relevant keywords—such as skills, job titles, and education. If your resume is not ATS-compliant, it may be rejected before a human ever sees it.
    An ATS-optimized resume significantly increases your chances of passing through initial screenings and landing an interview.

  • I work with professionals across a wide range of industries and experience levels. This includes, but is not limited to, fields such as business, sales, healthcare, human resources, IT, education, and more. I also specialize in creating strong, foundational resumes for high school and college graduates who may have limited or no work experience.

  • Absolutely! While most clients come with an existing resume that I use as a starting point for a complete rewrite and optimization, having one is not required.

    If you don’t have a resume on file, no problem—I’ll provide a detailed questionnaire to gather all the necessary information about your background, experience, and goals. From there, I’ll create a fully customized, professional resume tailored to your unique career path.

  • To protect the privacy and confidentiality of my clients, I don’t share full résumé samples. However, I’m happy to share a short preview of my writing style and formatting upon request.

  • At this time, I do not offer federal or USAJOBS résumé writing services. Federal résumés require extensive multi-page formatting, specialized experience alignment, and compliance with agency-specific requirements. My services currently focus on private-sector résumés only to ensure the highest quality and fastest turnaround for my clients.

  • I offer two options for updating your LinkedIn profile:

    Option 1:
    You may create a temporary password that allows me to access your profile and update the information directly. Once you’ve reviewed and approved the changes, you can remove or update the password for security.

    Option 2:
    I will provide a Microsoft Word template with your optimized LinkedIn content. You can then copy and paste the information into your profile at your convenience.

    Please let me know which option you prefer, and we’ll proceed from there.

  • At Homestead Resumes, I aim to provide resume services that align with your career goals and expectations. To support that, each resume package includes ONE round of revisions, which must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving your initial draft.

    If revision requests are not received within 48 hours, the right to revisions will be considered waived. This policy helps me manage my project schedule effectively and provide timely service to all clients.

    Should you require additional updates outside of the initial revision window—or in the future due to job changes—I offer discounted revision services to returning clients.
